Delivery Protection
We want your handcrafted Wildwood piece to arrive safely.
Delivery Protection is an optional add-on at checkout that covers your order if it is lost, stolen, or damaged during shipping.
Important: Delivery Protection only applies to orders where it is added at checkout. If protection is not selected, Wildwood is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, or damaged once they are in the carrier’s possession.
Adding protection gives you extra peace of mind from our Maine studio to your doorstep.
What’s Covered
If you add Delivery Protection, we will take care of you if:
- Your package is lost in transit
- Your package is marked delivered but cannot be located
- Your item arrives damaged during shipping
If your claim is approved, we will replace your item at no cost to you.
Damaged Items
If your order arrives damaged:
- Please email us within 7 days of delivery
- Include clear photos of the packaging and the item
Once your claim is approved:
- We will send you a prepaid return label
- The damaged item must be shipped back to us
- A replacement will be sent once the return is in transit or received
Lost Packages
A package is considered lost if tracking has not updated for 7 consecutive days or if the carrier confirms it is lost.
Please contact us within 14 days of the last tracking update.
Stolen Packages
If your tracking shows delivered but you cannot locate your package:
- Contact us within 7 days of delivery
- A brief confirmation statement may be required
We reserve the right to limit repeated claims to the same address.
What’s Not Covered
Delivery Protection does not apply to:
- Orders with incorrect shipping information entered at checkout
- Packages that are forwarded or redirected
- Shipping delays
- Claims submitted outside the required timeframes
How to File a Claim
Email hello@wildwoodoysterco.com with:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Photos if applicable
Claims are typically reviewed within 2 to 3 business days.
